    While in town for breakfast this morning, I saw out the window of the cafe, alot of birds at a crab apple tree. I went home and picked up my camera and returned and got these Images.

    Lovely birds! :D That first one looks a lot like our autumn guests, the Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus).

    He is known here as the Cedar Waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum)

    I have never seen your birds before but they are beautiful .That 1st one is very unusual

    Those are very nice pictures. I like that cedar waxwing. That is such an interesting, and to me, exotic-looking bird.

    Oh how I'd love to see a waxwing in real life!! A flock did pass through this part of Scotland late last year but never came my way. My daughter saw them but didn't realise what they were until she 'phoned me and described them. Sadly she never took photographs of them. :(

    So that is a cedar waxwing. He is very handsome. I don't think we have those here... And then the robin. It's no secret, I love robins! Beautiful photos.

    I like the Cedar Waxwings too Tom. I don't think we have them here. I like the second photo of it dancing a jig :)

    I have to agree with Netty, I like the second bird pict. with its jig dancing.
