First hummingbird of the season. I was on the phone & noticed something dart across the window, looked out & saw the hummingbird in the penstemon. I grabbed the camera (telephoto not attached) & did not have the tripod set up. Sorry for the fuzziness. The hummingbird is sitting on top of the wrought iron plant stand with the palm frond behind him. See him? He's to the left of the center on top of the upward-curving piece of wrought iron.

Beautiful WTD. I was going to say the Fushia was my fav, then I kept on going. Now I can't decide. They are all gorgeous. Love the patio also. Bet it keeps you busy! :p

I do see him!! That was quick instinct on your part! All of your blooms look so nice and so many different things. I agree with Kuntrygal, I couldn't pick a favorite.

Lovely photos, WTxDaddy, as always. Your garden's looking very nice and I'm so envious of that patio of yours. :D My favourite is the Penstemon I think. Or the shastas. Or maybe the fuchsia...

I see you managed to persuade your wife that pots on the new patio would look good. ;) It must be wonderful to sit out there and drink in all those lovely flowers. I spotted your hummingbird and let's hope he's the first of many to visit you.

Very nice potted plants, WTD. That was nice to throw in the one with the little hummingbird. I can well imagine that the Penstamons are a favourite with them. It's no wonder that many hummingbird feeders emulate this flower.
I like Aquilegias very much and yours is lovely. Well done on your patio collection--it's very nice and it makes me think of Spain for some reason.
