We pulled all but 2 tomato plants this morning. Now I have at least a 1/2 bushel of green tomatoes. Any ideas what to make with them??? I've canned chutney, fried green tom's, sweet & spicy tom's and green tomato relish. All suggestions welcomed.

Donna, just wipe any dirt off the tomatoes (as if your tomatoes were dirty  ) and lay them inside on a flat surface, not touching each other. They will ripen over time and give you eating tomatoes for a couple of months. We do this just before the first frost in November, and have fresh tomatoes on the table for Christmas dinner.

Donna all that stuff looks so yummy. We have gotten some tomatoes from our plants. But not enough to can or freeze. Between the birds trying to eat them and having some sort of blight we have only enough to eat. Oh well. There is always the farmers market. :stew1:
