I have found that some of the birds that feed at our feeder, are not as shy as one may expect. I was out there the other day, with in 6 feet of the feeder, and the birds kept coming to feed. I stood there watching and they didn't mind. So I got the camera and got a few pictures.

Great shots Tom especially the second one. Do you know the name of your birds - they looks very similar to the coal tits we get here in Scotland.

We've got coal tits too, and they are quite tough around people. One sat only inches away from my mother, telling her off because she was late with the breakfast. :D

    Lovely photos, calomaar!

Eileen, we call them chickadees, also known as American Titmice. They spend the winter with us, I love their winter call on a quiet cold day.

Here the chickadees will have Titmice with them at the feeders. They like to pal around with each other!
