Those are so beautiful! Big blooms, and wonderful fragrance. I think I have to go look for something resembling those at the florist. Thank you for posting.

They bloom late in the year here. I've got the Stargazer, Siberia, Muscadet and a couple more.

Those are gorgeous! I've always loved Stargazers but those Starfighters are very nice too.

It's so nice to see your lilly pics. I can't grow them sucessfully here because there is a nasty little orange beetle that just eats them alive! They come in large numbers. If you spray them their population dwindles for two days, then they return...it's unending.
But, it doesn't stop me from enjoying other people's. Yours are gorgeous, and I just know their fragrance really gets your attention.
    Thanks

Lover-ly lilies! [IMG] I can nearly smell their perfume.

I just cut down the last of my lily stalks today,
[IMG] they finally finished turning yellow.

That's all you had to do Sherry8. Post the pics... now everyone including me is ready for spring. Today has been a cloudy, cold, gloomy day and your pics were just the burst of color that I needed. Thanks for sharing ;)

I keep getting confused about the lily's. Are those Asiatic or Oriental. I want the kind that you have because I will get several blooms. The white one that is called Easter Lily is what I want in different colors. I have the white in groupings and they are show stoppers but I can not find the show stopper in any other color. Can you help? I know yours is the same type as my White Easter Lily.

I am not positive about the Rubrum because it was the last one flowering in my garden into fall. I would think it is considered Oriental. The Stargazers and starfighters are Oriental for sure and bloom mid to late summer in zone 4-9. I hope this helps...

some of my Rubrum pictures are dated 10/12/07 in my album.
