    There wasn't a lot to see inside to be honest. A lot of stone carvings and the like which had been rescued during the restoration. Restoration seemed to be ongoing, they were working on the abbey whilst we were there.

    I used to dream of living in a castle just like that when I was little. Not sure about the carving though in the 5th piccie as I think it detracts from the impressive architecture somewhat.

    Sayyy... those fotos look very nioce. I sure do like castles, and these pics show some lovely aspects of that one.
    I'm sort of glad you shower these, it bring out my chivalrous side.
