Philip my favourites in your garden have to be those magnificent hollyhocks and delphiniums. You have so many beautiful plants. Your asters and roses are to die for. :-D
Hi Eileen, i really am pleased with the Hollyhocks,..i was surprised at the size of the blooms to date,..there are more yet to bloom and one appears completely different to the others,..its just touching the seven foot mark today and almost ready to bloom. I purchased some Aluminium Powder to change the colour of a Hydrangea i grew from a cutting,..it flowered late last summer,..pink of course,..but with the added Aluminium Powder it looks like it will be a blue colour now. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) Lots of roses indeed,..i have 20 rose bushes after the swapping and give away and now no more room for another rose bush,..it had to stop sometime. Lots of Asters this year and all thriving,..the main blooms are just about popping out. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Thank you Theodoros,..glad you liked those pictures. Glengarry September Blooms. - Cottage Garden Forum - GardenWeb
