My Ponytail Palm took a real beating over the winter. I didn't know if it would ever show signs of live again. But... if you look at the very very bottom of the base there's some new growth. It may take years to get back to where it was... but at least it's not dead! Will never had enough out of that little pot to really make anything... but happy just to have them bear even a couple of berries. Nothing spectacular... yet... but thrilled to have something that has to be as old as me putting on flowers! MawMaw's rose bush ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
Almost forgot to add the Iris! I dug these up from the family home last year. Can't wait until more open up. Iris ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) Iris - top view ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
Lots of spring in your yard. I love the tiny blooms of the Sweet Violet, they are survivors too mine stayed green even under the snow last winter. Your grandmother's rose looks very healthy, keep doing whatever you are doing now cause it appears to like it.
Gosh! Strawberries. And roses too. You lucky so-and-so. I'm not just a little envious. I'm dark green with envy. So glad you're sharing your lovely colours with us.
So glad your MawMaw's rose bush is doing so well. I love how you nurture all the plants from your family. So sweet.
I'm just proud of this rose busy finally producing... had to share the opened-all-the-way bloom. Just anxious to see it with LOTS more. rose #1 opened ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
