This picture is actually more about whats under the bush than the bush itself... If you look carefully under the left side of the bush, you'll see little blackish balls.... baby ducks! Too cute *lol*

Myrtle tree. I dont know what kind of myrtle this is, but if you have any clue, let me know! When you crush the leaves with your hand, the scent is very fragrant. The wild horses like to eat the leaves, especially in the winter when not much else is left.

Chincoteague looks like a very lovely place, I like the photo with the horses. Did the home owners react to your photographing? I do that too if I see something of interest. :D You have some very nice photos in your album.

Is this where they have a yearly auction of some of the wild horses? I've read about that.

Of course Eileen, be my guest... I was actually thinking that you might want it when I posted it *lol*

Sjoerd, the duckies probably hadn't been that long out of the shell, maybe a week at the most! they were just little round things... mama duck was already hidden by the bush when I took the pic :)

As far as I know, the owners didnt mind my taking pics of the flowers, I didnt see anyone ^_^ I also saw some huge hydrangea bushes! They seem really popular on the island. Its a gorgeous place... I was going to go back this year, but my bfs sisters wedding is the same week and he really wanted me to go. Chincoteague will still be there next year :)

I actually posted about my trip last year, and my site is still up @ jsmith2285.googlepages.com :)
