    I love the irises with the cottongrass, the contrast is very nice. And what a pretty little red rose! I tried a few pictures of my lilacs and they never came out well, yours looks like it smells lovely. Thank you for sharing.

    Oh Eileen Thanks for posting the pics of your flowers!! I love the peony and the lilac!They are beautiful, I wish we could grow them here! I agree the irises and cottongrass are nice!! and what a cute little rose!!

    cottongrass

    Lovely pictures, I can almost smell the lilacs. I've never seen cootongrass. Is it native to where you are? Grasses are huge in popularity here. Is that true there also?

    Cotton grass is considered a bog weed here in Scotland Bethie but I love it as a margional plant in my pond. Over the last few years grasses, and ferns, have become very popular over here. I have quite a few didderent grasses dotted around my garden at the moment. In time, I intend to have a bed made up of nothing but these two types of plant as there is such a variety of colour and shape. :D
