I garden for Hummingbirds and Butterflies. In the process it has become a backyard wildlife habitat. In this thread I'll just post pics of the gardens/flowers. Later tonight or tomorrow I'll start another thread showing the variety and the amount of visitors we get. Hope you enjoy the tour... :-D ( photo / image / picture from SusanLouise's Garden ) Our honeysuckle garden...pre potted plants... Susan you have a really beautiful garden and it's so neat and tidy too. I enjoyed my tour of your property and hope you'll continue to show us photographs of all those wonderful plants.
Hello Eileen, Thank you so much! Would you believe me if I told you the 1st thing that popped into my head when I noticed that you're in Scotland is the Bay City Rollers! OMG! That brought me back to my teens...and the fun I had plastering my bedroom wall with pics of Ian and Woody. I actually wrote an e-mail to Ian a few months ago and he wrote me back...What a thrill! Ahhhhh...memories... hope I didn't share too much...
Every thing looks so pretty ....and tidy. I don't do tidy in the garden, couldn't if my life depended on it But yours looks fantastic.
What a lovely yard and garden. You are doing such a nice job on expanding those beds! Be sure and keep posting pictures. Can't wait to see how things grow!
Hello Toni, Daisy, Netti, Jewel and Frank, Thanks everyone...so glad you enjoyed the pics! Well, I don't think it's that tidy...more like an organized mess... Frank, i just started a thread of our visitors during the fall and winter. I'll make one of our Spring/Summer migrators and residents tomorrow...
The Bay City Rollers!!! I could tell you a few stories about those lads. I was a veterinary nurse and their manager lived near to where I worked and lived. He kept Dobermans so used our practice for all their veterinary needs. Tam Payton loved his dogs and the things those boys got up to would make your hair stand on end - it certainly did ours when we had to treat them after their escapades. Needless to say I wasn't a great fan of the group but they did produce some unforgettable music didn't they?
