Some we use for cooking others are for the bees,hover flies and butterflies. Garlic chives If you click on the photo it will take you to the rest of the pictures.
The birds 'planted' some wild ones of those in my garden. They can be rather invasive but I want to keep them. I think I'll pot them up so that I can appreciate them without having to worry that they'll spread all over the place. Great photograph by the way. :-D
Very nice pics. I looked at then for a long time. The thing that I like about most herbs is that not only can you eat them, but they are often nice to look at and smell. Insects like them as well--herbs are all-round winners, I find.
