Am really in the mood to show off today The weather was really nice yesterday. 1 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) So, I decided to spend some time with my plants. Picked myself a flower. 2 ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) And hey, did I share this pic already? My three plump tomatoes at differing levels of ripening! ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) Conditions on the rooftop are more favorable to growing organic veggies. Like the gourds I grew here> ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) And some chillies. The plants are crammed up in a bucket, guess this is hindering their growth: ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) And it was only when I saw this bloom on the sweet potato plant yesterday that I came to know that, well, they do bloom for some reason ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden )
My first balsam blooms: red and white. Am looking for the pink variety now. I've never seem any other variety of Balsam around. I'm seriously contemplating experimenting in grafting and produce some new colour ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) I've got 3 types of Marigolds. Can't determine their names though. Any help> 1st marigold, smaller in size ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) This is a multi-layered one with some frills in the petals: ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) Frilliest kind: ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden ) I'll end here with a succulent no one was able to identify before Hope it catches someone's eyes this time and rings a bell in his/her mind. It was all red when I brought it home but with time, some green and brown colors have taken over the 'leaves'- an indication that I am doing something wrong. Could it be a surplus of sunlight, I wonder! ( photo / image / picture from oubee's Garden )
Very nice. Your marigolds look like orange petite, Queen Sophia and Crackerjack. But there is so many different ones now, hard to tell.
Loved all the photos and that first one really set the mood. Gorgeous. I was going to say that your Marigolds looked like the Crackerjack one. But mine are TALL... over 3 feet.
Thanks Cheryl! Mine are only 2 feet tall; maybe it's the sunny treat they receive for over 6 hours each day? Thanks Theo, Droopy & Sjoerd! My bad luck
