    :eek: The worker bees are all female or as I call them girls. The males are just lazy free loaders except when a virgin queen hatches. We use the male foundation to freeze and kill the mites that seem to like to raise their young in the males cells.

    The pink one is Swamp Milk Weed Not open yet, which is sold at garden centers here.
    It is the regular wild Milk Weed that the bees in the pictures are working. Our front door garden is being over ran with it. At first I was upset Kare wasn't getting rid of it but when it bloomed so many bees were working it sales people were afraid to go to the door I just loved it.

    Lovely pictures, and the bees are so cute when they're sticking their nose into a blossom - lol about the salepeople. :-D
