First are two individual tote bags. The first is one that I made for my sister in Arizona. It is an "I Love Texas" tote bag. The next one is for guys. It's green with lots of pockets. The next ones are hanging in our stand at the farmer's market. You will see that it's been raining some.
I put two long pockets down the ends of the I Love Texas tote because Maxine knits and she may want to use it for knitting. The long pockets will hold her knitting needles. It also has pockets inside. She doesn't know she's getting it yet. She doesn't have a computer so she can't read about it here. I will get it mailed tomorrow. dooley
I love the second one (the one for the guys) as it's just sooooo practical for everyday use. I could see me taking a bag like that everywhere with me as I could get my lunch, mobile, purse, camera, batteries, tissues, keys etc all in it. I'd still have space for anything I bought on route too. Ian would use it and not be try to hide it away because of its colour or pattern as it's not in the least bit 'girly.' :-D
They're great looking Dooley. I'm partial to the one for the guys too. And the jack-o-lantern one is really cute.
Those totebags look very nice, Dooley. They are such handy things...and yours are attractive to boot.
I sat for an hour this evening zigzagging faces on orange squares to make a few more Halloween tote bags. Tomorrow I will sew them together. I didn't think putting the faces on would take so much time but it does. About ten minutes per bag. It only takes about half an hour to sew the bag together then. dooley
