Some type of tongue fern?

    I've had this clump of ferns growing for over 20 years. It's drought resistant and unlike Asplenium scolopendrium (Hart's Tongue Fern) it does not grow in a circle/rossette formation. Instead it sends out new shoots in a willy nilly linear pattern. The roots are very shallow, able to grow in the layer of mulch atop our desolate ground.

    That's what I first thought. Probably in the same family, but not Hart's from what I've seen on Google. Perhaps mine is growing out of character due to the harsh conditions?

    I would have said it's Hart's Tongue Fern/Asplenium Scolopendrium too Snap. I have it growing in my own garden and it looks just like yours.
