I am beginning to grow feathers and webbed feet ! Rain, Rain and more rain ! The weather man has begun saying,, "Refer to yesterday " for the forecast ! I will be glad when this rain ends ! For now anyway !
Mart we're suffering the same way here. The long range weather forecast is for rain until the end of the month!! At this rate the whole garden is going to be one giant pond.
Mart, who would have thought that Texans would be complaining about RAIN! I have postponed gardening plans, stayed at home instead of braving fog and drizzle to go into town, and put up with three grumpy cats! If you want to go swimming, come on down!
You all should do an anti-rain dance! So what ever you would do for a rain dance, but in reverse. And wear your bathing suits. ( let me get my camera) Hope warm weather comes to you soon.
Another cyclone brewing in the Arabian Sea over here. Should hit my locality in a week to 10 days. Before, all throughout from the mid 1980s to around 2015. We would get nothing but drought after drought. Not really all that unexpected, as we are after all a sizzling hot coastal semi desert just one degree above the Tropic of Cancer. But now, because of the changing global weather. This will be the 4th year in a row, when my city gets hit by another monsoon season cyclone! Going out to buy a mask with snorkel, and a pair of flippers, (maybe an underwater spear gun too, for my annoying neighbor). Oh wait, there is another lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic - No problem, I'll just order online.
It's a sign, from a higher power, that we should now all invest in aquatic plants. Also buy a rubber dinghy for commuting. A farmer once went to a mystic, asks him to do his magic and somehow call rain for his crops. Mystic does his rain dance, but nothing happens. So he repeats his dance again, this time at night also. But again, no rain... 3rd time the mystic dances at breakfast, then at lunch, and lastly at dinner too - However, just for an added effect, mystic washes his car too, (as he was hopeful that he wouldn't need to, as rain should have done it automatically). Suddenly it rained... Point is that the universe at large has a very sadistic yet humorous character. Where the aim is to always make you waste your efforts. Therefore, let's all of us now keep our cars very dirty. And be hopeful that rain will wash them on it's own - Trust me, it will not rain, and any rain which would be happening, will immediately stop.
I really wish we had the problem of too much rain. Living in the "heat island" created by the buildings and traffic of downtown Dallas which is almost directly south of where I live, means unless the weather system bringing in the rain is really, really strong, like a hurricane hitting the Houston area and coming far enough inland to affect us, we get a glancing blow with little rain...if any. We used to get a lot of rainy days but now it is not uncommon for my garden to go months without any measurable rain like the last 3 years.

Trust me, it will not rain, and any rain which would be happening, will immediately stop. That doesn`t work S-H ,, I have not washed mine in two months ! And it still rains !
