We have a fair number of Sorbus (Rowan) trees in the garden. This is our latest addition.

If anyone is interested I have added a tour of our garden from July this year in the My Garden section.

Eric, the color on the Rowan is wonderful, as are your gardens. They never cease to amaze me.

The red and pink berries do not seem to go as fast as the white ones. We have Ss. cashmeriana, fruticosa and another white berried one which are now fruitless. The thrushes, fieldfares and blackbirds strip them in short order. Ss Pink Pagoda and vilmorinii are still fruiting. S. Joseph Rock has yellow berries, but ours has not produced yet nor has S.aria. First time with berries on S. reducta which is only about 12 inches tall.
I think the people's gardens section on here is a wonderful idea. All the ones I have looked at (and on Dialup that really does take a long time) are wonderful.

I'm a big fan of rowan trees, and this is one I'll try and remember to look for in the nurseries. The colour is lovely!
