    Saving one's pee for the garden is an old trick. Here they call it "Gold water" and dilutes it for watering.

    Urine is an excellent source of nitrogen which gets dumped into the sewage system but presents a logistical problem of how to keep it separate . So enter the urine diverting toiletas in the photograph . The front part of the seat collects the urine and takes it to a separate system.
    The execution of this particular project is a bit revolutionary and most people wouldn't like people relieving themselves in the open . [​IMG]
