Spring at Capel Manor

    Daughter has a week off work so we took a ride out to Capel Manor Gardens yesterday. The snowdrops were everywhere.

    Yes Droopy, they are heathers, really pretty. The yellow shrub is witch hazel and I think the red may be cornus. They made a beautiful display.

    Lovely. I haven't been to Capel Manor before. I do love snowdrops enmasse like that - it really does look as tho there has been a scattering of snow.

    Those snowdrops look like a carpet. I have neveb been there either. It was nice of you to show the pics.

    Now that is spring being announced in a big way by those Snowdrops. Loveley pictures. THere is no denying it anymore - even if winter wants to prolong its stay. :-D
