Kay, what a great Spring Parade of flowers! Daffodils and columbines flowering at the same time is something I've not seen before, not even with the late daffs. Here the columbines are just about setting flower buds. And then there's the gorgeous geum. Is it Mrs Bradshaw? I have both Mrs Bradshaw and Lady Stratheden (yellow) stuffed into pots (poor things), waiting to go into my new garden. Neither are anywhere near flowering, so I am a teensy weensy bit jealous...... Love your anemones too. I'm inheriting some from my mum, she planted quite a few. They have also spread a bit, which is nice. These, too, are not yet flowering .
Aren't spring flowers just extra special? We wait all winter for them to appear and when they do we're ready and waiting with camera in hand. I have many of the same flowers as you but you're way ahead of me too. My anemones are out though as well as my daffodils. I have to wait a bit longer for my columbine and bleeding hearts to bloom.
Thanks all. I have to admit, my camera is not the best. The blooms are so much better in person... so you're all invite to my garden!!
