Spring In Ireland.

    It is Spring officially since the 21st of March though Spring blooms were appearing since the 1st of Feb.

    We have sunny days but cold days here in the Midlands,..while on the east coast and the north its a disaster with very high snow and 40,000 people without power.

    Oh I so want to see my daffodils flowering. I have had snowdrops and crocus come into flower this year. However a few days after opening they were covered in snow and have been ever since.

    Beautiful! After watching that video I am more than ready for spring!
    One of the feature gardens at the Canada Blooms festival was called 'Spring Garden' and it was made my a local landscaping company partnered with Tourism Ireland. I believe it was voted best in show. I will have to check my photos :)

    Hi Eileen,..sorry to see you still have the snow covering your Crocus and i hope the signs of winter leave you soon,..we had a VERY heavy ground frost for two days and nearly all the Crocus died back,..winter does not want to leave.

    Hi Netty,..i enjoyed the tour of Canada Blooms through your photographs,..beautiful pictures!,..and looked at the first video on the link,..a ten minute video of eye opening scenes with great ideas for my own garden,..i will look out for the 'Spring Garden' on my next tour,..great stuff.

    Hi Cheryl,..yes sure looks like Spring,..and all morning we had a glorious sunny time,..now we have darkish skies with promises of snow for at least a week,..talk about stepping backwards!.
