I haven't posted lately, but I do check in daily. A Carolina wren moved into my apple gourd again this spring. The bluebird is back in the white gourd again. A few daffodils.
I love your gourd birdhouses and, obviously, so do your birds. I think they look really good and both birds should rear their young safely in them.
Obviously spring arrived at your spot with a whoop and a holler! I love your birdhouse gourds--inspires me to grow them next year. Your daffs are lovely--we have a few, but none as pretty as yours.
Did you paint the gourds? Those are adorable. I have collected gourds from thrift and antique stores over the years and really need to drill a hole, clean them out and paint them for birdhouses. I am hoping to grow some bushel gourds this year and use them for gifts next year.
