Tues. we had real light showers all day and a few more this morning early. But now it is all cleared out and the sun is shining brightly. I mixed up some Volck's oil spray and got the ground cover on the 2 hills sprayed. It is a dormant spray for white flies and scale. The deer trimmed it back really good this winter, so I was able to get them sprayed all the way to the roots. They are just starting to get leaf buds on them.
That's great Capt! Today is mild here, but very wet so I would be getting out into the yard today. The rain has taken care of almost all the snow
Captain, so glad you can get outside and have fun! The deer have done you a favor--trimming ground cover can be hard on the back. I finished planting the big herb garden today, except for a couple of dozen basils that are still hardening off. Working outside is such a joy!
High of 60 F. today. Spent about an hour on the front deck, stting in the sun. I was out of the wind, so it was pretty warm.
