    Looks as though he's stopping anything else from getting to those seeds!! I wonder why he persists when he can't get to the food though?

    He gets up there and that shakes the feeder and the seeds fall out on the ground

    But not smart enough! I shot him in the butt with the BB gun and he hasn't been back since! The BB gun is so old and the spring is so weak, that it just stings him.

    Oh, poor chap. I wouldn't have had the heart to do that, but then I don't have to live with him.

    We have a major squirrel problem too. They eat more seed than the birds do. The gray ones aren't so bad, but the red ones are a real nuisance (thank goodness for BB guns!) Although I know that in Scotland squirrels are considered an endangered species...I wish we could transport some over for you Eileen!!!
