Just fooling with you....I don't know a squirrelly bird but I was very surprised when I noticed this squirrel right up next to the house in my small tray feeder. He sat for quite a while or I should say until he emptied the tray of any bird seed....(Even spell check didn't want me to use the word squirrelly)

Great photos! I have some squirrelly birds too! :p
There are three squirrellys who, no matter how much we put out for them on the ground, maraud the feeder every day, the little pigs! They are lucky we think they are so cute!

Today when I looked out I had 4 squirrels playing in the pergola area...it seems they are telling their friends where to get a free meal. They don't bother my hanging feeders at all....they just eat off of the tray feeders.

They're so cute! :stew2: I love to see your photos of them. Our squirrels are red and not around here, unfortunately. My mother lives near the woods, so she get squirrelly visitors now and then.

Really great shots of your squirrel mSherry. It's good to know he leaves your bird feeders alone - wish mine did!!

Those little buggers!!! I put safflower seed in my open feeders...the squirrels don't like it and leave them alone. We've got red squirrels here too during the summer and I'm grateful that they hibernate during the winter months as they're so mischievous. My friends in Scotland tell me that squirrels are an endangered species there. I wish I could send them a few :-D

Great photos of the adorable little squirrel, I like them as long they stay out of my potted plants :)

Nice fotos, Sherry. That little guy seemed right at home in that bird feeder. You were able to get some good piccies, though.

Great pictures Sherry. He sure made himself at home right square in the middle of the feeder. The side shots allow us to see eye to eye!! :D

I love my squirrels and throw seed out for them daily, but this week I saw one dig, dig, digging one of my small bulbs up. Grrr...but they are cute!

Great close ups of the squirrels!

Squirrels are so cute, but I get upset when they get into my feeders, so I put bread into the tray feeders, and put the expensive bird seed into squirrel proof feeders.

So far, so good. No squirrels have been able to get into them!

We put out cracked corn and black oil for the little pigs (squirrels) Its fun to watch them fill their bellies. Then they get full and aren't so tempted to raid the feeders. :p
