The fern now hangs on the sun room wall.

After vanishing, I used chicken wire and moss from the yard to hold my fern. ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )

That is really quite something, Donna. I am amazed at your ability to create something so impressive.
I'll bet that fern will be with you for ages to come.

But gosh--what a nice hanging you made3. Chapeau!

The piece of wood you found Donna is perfect. You'd think it had been made especially for your fern as it's the right size and shape to really show it off. Buying bits of wood similar to yours cost a small fortune over here. Well done on your lovely work of art. :smt041 :smt041
I have a feeling your fern is going to enjoy its new home.

What a lovely piece Donna combining three distinct objects. I think it looks splendid.

Very nice work. When the plant gets larger you won't see the bird or wood.

You do well with mixing art and plant.

Very creative and the perfect 'container' for your stag horn fern. I really like it.

Your epiphyte will love its new home, great choice. In the treetops of the Peruvian forest(ideal conditions) they get quite large, 3 feet or more.
