Drained the water barrels and cleaned them out and put away. Took down the big 4 ft. wind chime and the standup bird bath and put them away.

I haven't done that yet, but I HAVE had the fuel tank filled and ordered the firewood. I'm not ready to put away the birdbath yet ... the little birds still use it everyday.

Ima getting there. I am bringing everything into the greenhouse that won't live over the Winter here. Emptied all the iron and stone urns and they are laying on their side waiting to be covered with plastic. Taking clippings from around the yard.

I should be done by the end of the month. Usually we are dragging things in the night before the big frost but this year I am going to be ready, for sure.

koszta kid! Ditto! Loads of firewood is supposed to be arriving in the next few days and I'm convinced we have enough to last a year or two already!

We don't have a heated Bird Bath though, but we are encourged on most of the wildlife shows we have on TV here to put fresh water out everyday. This is apparently because water sources are much harder to come by for birds in Winter so we are helping them out. :-D
