2010 will be my second year as a veg gardener.

Coming from a family of veg gardeners have fond memorys.

So last year in our new home we put a small raised bed in the back. had some good success with toms and beans. Learnt loads as well.

This year i'm looking to expand the garden and with the permission of the wife have started to clear the bottom corner of the garden 200meter square area :)

Planning on 4 raised beds and nice selection of fruit.

Fun bit at the moment is digging up all the roots from an old maple, schumacher shoots and very hard to get up buddleia.

i'll try and get some photos added today

Just very excited wanted to share

A new garden venture of any kind of very exciting. Good luck with the 2nd year veggie garden. Any chance we can see some pictures of the progress?

I can feel my fingers itching to join you in creating your new raised beds Dan. All your hard work digging up those roots is going to be well worth the effort I'm sure. I'll look forward to photographs when you have the time to post them. :-D

    Good luck with your plans.
Excitement like that is a good sign and the best time to work...it sort of carries you along and keeps the momentum going.

finally the tip of the garden. plan to box in the stump and put strawberries around the edge then put a tub on the top probably a half barrel. was thinking of putting some fruit vine plants in there. with fruit bushes to the right of it.
