The weather has been a bit milder the past week or so, until this morning. We had a low of 9F this morning. But next week they are saying 50's and near 60 one day. I bought some seeds yesterday got some Summer Squash and some cantalope seeds. Won't be able to use them until May or so, though.

Hang in there Capt, spring is just around the corner. Don't know which corner in your neck of the woods, but you'll get to it eventually. Just keep shaking those seed packets and dreaming of warm weather.

Oh I wouldn't be able to wait until May if I were you CK. I'd have those seeds planted indoors 'cause I just have to open the packets and sow them!!!

I sure couldn't wait. That's why I love the South, year round gardening.

It didn't get real warm today but the sun was shining - what a beautiful site. It melted some of the snow, not a lot but every little bit helps. Supposed to be warmer by the weekend. Let's start wishing harder Capt.

Mid 40's here again today and the snow is melting. I'm glad except when I'm cleaning the water out of the gargage. Unfortunately it is running in faster than I can get it out. Can't figure out where it is coming in and my husband is away. Guess I'll leave the rest of the mess for him.
