I am not sure if this is the site i was on with someone who said they grow stevia and had seeds they would share. I am so done with winter, i desperitley want to get dirt under my fingernails and start planting seeds!! Love to watch things grow!
Hi DM, It wasn't me, but if you do find stevia seeds, please do let us know how you fair with them. I have begun experiementing with using stevia when I want a little sweet and the results have been so-so. Have you had good luck baking/cooking with it?
I searched the topic, but didn't see where anyone had them to share. Someone mentioned picking some seeds for it up at lowes, though. I bought mine from a local seed supplier a few years ago and it was difficult to germinate. I ended up with one germinating. I think I bought the seeds at the end of the season, but they still should have been fresh enough to grow successfully a couple months later than spring.
Thank you for the info. I did find the person who is growing the stevia. It was on my other board. But thank you for taking the time to do the search. I will let you know if my stevia growing is successful or not.
