Still coming to feed young.

    The pileated woodpecker is still calling in to feed the young one. I think that this is my best shot at the feeding procedure so far.

    Needless to say this is, once again, an absolutely brilliant shot, Kildale!
    It never ceases to amaze me how seemingly tireless & dedicated the parent-birds feed their young, never getting a moment's rest for weeks on end!
    No woodpeckers here, but lots of cute little sparrows & noisy blackbirds :stew1:

    It surprised me that it was a male that was feeding the juvenile.
