This is for Cuatro-gatos and this post is a result of this Okra Planting post. :)

I only had a hand full of okra from the old plant and the new plant just started fruiting so it is just a small bowl.
    1. First cut the okra by nipping and breaking it.
    2. Crushed or chopped some garlic, how many depend on how much you like garlic.
    3. In a pan heat up some oil, lard would be excellent.
    4. Suate the garlic together with the dried prawns until fragrant.
    5. Then put in the okra and fry to the doneness according to your liking.
    6. Wa-lah it's ready.

Note: if the dried prawn are big crush it to make it smaller.
Best eaten with rice or potatoes.

    Enjoy! :)

I have to admit to not being much of a fan of okra, but that sounds delicious! I don't have a source of dried prawns, but we do have fresh shrimp from the Gulf. I think tomorrow night's dinner is planned!
Thanks for the recipe, and if I become a fan of okra, we know who to blame :like:.

Wow KK that looks yummy. I'll try that, its a good way to keep lots of veggies in the diet.
I planted 6 okra seeds, 3 have sprouted, but the area is small so guess I'll have to give a
    few to friends. Thank you.

:D he! he! Marlingardener, shrimps would do just fine.

Looks like lots of okra is coming your way Cuatro-gatos :). If you like curry and have some curry powder you can add it in too. Just about a tablespoon will do or according to taste.

I would not need anything else with that. Looks great as-is.
