Thought we were going to get blown away. 82 mph winds, very heavy rain. My front yard looks like a lake. No damage but no power. Thank God we have a generator.

Donna, so glad you had no damage! Lakes, especially front yard lakes, go away eventually.
So smart of you to have a generator. So many folks are just not prepared for harsh conditions and loss of power.

Wow. I am glad you are safe. That is seriously scary wind. I think I would rather have cold over that high of wind, we are needing to replace the shingles, but not that way.

Glad to hear the power is back on. High winds are always a scary time as you never know what will come down, trees, squirrels and bird houses. Hope there is not too much cleanup.

Hi Donna,..82mph winds are scary and with the added heavy rain and flooding you know you could well be in bother,..its a great comfort to have that generator,..glad you had no serious damage.

Lots of branches to pick up when it dries up. I'm just very thankful my cold frame and high tunnel are still where I left them.

Ouch, hurricane force winds is no fun at all. :( I'm glad you're OK. We've also got a generator. Thankfully we haven't needed it since we bought it.
