Here is a couple of pictures of our Christmas weather. I took these two pictures last evening before 5 pm. It was dark and pouring rain. I stood in the doorway so the camera wouldn't get wet. We had thunder, lightning, wind and pouring rain. There was a severe weather alert for tornado watch but I guess none were sighted. It rained off and on all night. About 4 am the wind started blowing big time. We got up at six am and took the truck down to Bryan to get new tires. I hope it appreciated it's Christmas present. It spit rain on us coming and going and the wind tried to blow us around a bit. Now, with the wind it feels cold and colder. No snow though. That's a good thing. dooley
You can have some of my snow Dooley as we're inundated with the stuff here. I hope the weather improves for you tomorrow and have a lovely Christmas. :-D
Thanks, Eileen but I'm very happy to have rain instead of snow. Have a good Christmas at your house! dooley
Ouch, it looks very dark and threatening. *hiding under a blanket* I'm glad we're not having that sort of weather now. I'll settle for our frost and snow I think.
Woo--that sky looks ominous. I wonder what is going to happen... The fotos convey a feeling of an impending storm.
Wow, yeah, I was just reading the news online and it was talking about the terrible snow storms in the Plains and Midwest and the fierce storms in the south. Looks like you're solidly in the storms category. Making travel tonight pretty hairy for Santa and other people.... so here is wishing all safe travels tonight and tomorrow.
I've seen clouds like that all my life and they always scare me.Dooley get use to it. It gets worse sometimes.
