Strange things growing in my yard.

    Have you had a lot of rain? Those look like fungus and they thrive in damp areas.

    Yes we have had lots of rain and very high humidity.

    Sometimes I get so many of these things growing that when they die they get get lots of gnats swarming around. I don't like that so when they begin to grow I just pull them out with other weeds.

    Don't know if that's good or bad. I just don't care for their remains.
