Strawberries :D

    4th handful this month :D If I fertilize the plants now, will the remaining berries grow bigger? o.o

    I love the strawberries :-D :-D
    but two years ago I started a diet,which forbids me to eat strawberries :( :( :(

    Jen, DO NOT add fertilizer to the patch now, it won't help to make bigger berries. The extra nitrogen will make the fruit soft. Wait until they are done bearing then trim up the patch and fertilize. In the spring before the blossoms appear fertilize again. The type of berries you have may be part of the size factor, too. Do you have everbearing? I have had them and they were always small. Some june bearing berries just aren't big, either, so even though they need an annual or bi annual fertilizer, they won't be big berries.

    Jen those Strawberries look sweet,..i have not had any to eat this year,..just waiting for the farmers Mart,..for real natural ones.
