    It really does look like it is made of straw! How very pretty.

    We used to grow those yearly, since they make such wonderful dried flowers. We had bouquets of them here and there through the house, and glued them on wreaths and such. They're really lovely.

    They're really lovely Netty. I press them and use them on cards and in dried flower arrangements. Such versatile blooms!!! :stew2:

    I used to grow those and had fair success--sometimes they did well, other years not so good, but they remain lovely flowers to see habd have. They really do compliment a garden.
    Congrats on yours, they're gorgeous.

    Oh I haven't grown ever lasting flowers for many years, but I fear you have tempted me again. Might grow some on the allotment next year.
