    My secret jewel at church gave me a Cajun Hibiscus for Easter. It bloomed yesterday. Unreal:

    I really like the way the strong colour in the centre of the flower graduates out to such a delicate shade in the petals. A real beauty. :stew1:

    I like the stripes of the light pink in the red. Does it smell nice? The pistol looks full of pollen.

    Thanks all. starface, no fragrance, but it's beauty makes up for it. I found a local nursery that carries them and I will check it out this week. I would love more colors.

    I think I have some seeds for white ones. Maybe Glenda gave them to me. I guess I should get them planted. dooley

    Yes,dooley but the seeds came from cajunbelle's plant .I got seeds from it last year and gave you some seeds from my plant.It has a wine colored center.Its very pretty get them planted you will love it.

    What an amazing selection of colour Sharon. The one that Ihave is not featured in the list. Mine is a standard white with red throat.

    GG, your white hibiscus is beautiful, so full of flowers. Thanks for the lovely comments all, I am proud of my plant and do think it is a gem, as is my Secret Jewel for giving it to me.
