Succulent? with white fan in Thailand

    I think this is a succulent, my friend spotted it on a recent visit to Thailand. I'm not sure if anything came before or after the white fan like head.

    I believe that is a Coral Cactus Euphorbia lactea and what a beauty it is. We sometimes have them for sale in the Home Depots and Lowe's around here and I have come very close to buying one. I think I might this year though. :D

    Jon, thanks so much for the speedy identification. I did some further reading and found that they are (possibly) grafted here in Thailand?

    i was gonna say that it looks like a plant grafted on another (to me).

    Yes the white ghost euphorbis lactea can not survive on its own do to the lack of chloraphyll, it needs a graft. The bottom graft stem is another euphorbia of a hardy variety that gives the lactea the ability to live and grow faster.
