Such a deep color....Torenia

    They're really lovely colours GizMo. Did they just turn out those colours or are they a particular kind of Torenia?

    Much prettier than the white ones that I planted that did not do well in the shade. Are they sun or shade plants?

    Polly, I have planted them in both, here in the south they do better in partial shade, and even full shade. The sun tends to scorch them down here. They are my favorite bedding plant they just keep blooming until the frost.

    It's my first porch plant. I've found them to grow best in shade and late afternoon sun. West side of the house. Water is a big factor (ever night). They look wilted by evening and perk back up by the next am.
    Eileen thats the name I was told. I got them because there so different. I couldn't say no I tryed lol.

    Very pretty - almost like those dark pansies. Purple is always a favorite - thanks for the pic.

    Gizmo those are like mine ,jubabes and Shanna's.They are a very bright color.
