I was mowing the lawn on the lawn tractor and glanced in the front yard and saw 2 ladies looking at my flower beds..So I got off and spent about an hour giving them a tour of the whole yard and talking about plants. I have their numbers because they would like a piece of the dark red sedum I have. One lady even said gardners hug and gave me a hug and thanked me for showing them the flowers when they left...I do like those compliments from people passing by. It has been such a good couple weeks with having my name and pictures in an e-mail link and now this..makes you want to go out and weed.LOL...I am smiling from ear to ear...This is what gardening is all about...Sherry :-D :-D :-D

Oh, what a great lift to your day. I have never stopped at someones house to look at a garden but I do take down addresses of homes with really neat gardens and send them a note telling them how much I like what they have done. Maybe someone will stop by my garden when I get the front going next spring.
That was great to hear, Sherry. It wouldn't surprize me at all if this didn't happen there all the time. Yopu do indeed have a lovely garden, y'know.
From the pictures you have shown, we know you have a beautiful garden. But how nice it would be if we could see it in person, like those two ladies. What a thrill it must be for you, to hear their compliments. I'm sure you made their day as well.
