Don't have as many summer visitors as we do in the winter, but we see a few different one which is nice. This chipping sparrow has been around for a few days but this is the first picture I have taken

A delightful little bird Kildale. We still have siskins in the garden this year. Usually they would have left by now but I'm quite happy if they want to hang around for a while longer.

Great photo again. Our Chippers have been here for quite some time now. We also had the White throated Sparrow arrive a few weeks ago along with the Song Sparrow. Soon the White Crowned Sparrows should be showing up. The Blue Birds have been back for at least 3wks or more. I love seeing all the summer birds returning.

Strange how things go, we have had the white crown sparrow here all winter and the white throat was here also. In Oct. I had the white crown juvenile here and the adults in Dec.

We have a few sparrow species but not nearly as many as you have. Ours are the House Sparrow, Tree Sparrow and the Hedge Sparrow /Dunnock.

I have photographed nine different sparrows this winter. Song, chipping, fox, golden-crowned, white-crowned, house, white throat, field and the Savannah sparrow. Seven were on the deck.
