It is that time of year again. Tomorrow is the villages summer horticultural show. Of course we are entering, but I am not entering as many classes as I have been so busy with work and evening engagements, that I just haven't been able to get orgainsed. However I do have some lettuce, spuds, french beans, raspberries, gooseberries, jostaberries and globe artichokes, along with a choccy swiss roll, fruit scones and cherry pie. The children have prepared paper flowers, decorated flower pot, edible hedgehog, sock puppet, and decorated fairy cakes. I will of couse take loads of photos and post over the weekend with the resutls. Wish me luck.
Gosh if you can put all that together with very little time to spare then you're doing a grand job EJ!! I don't think I need to wish you luck as I'm sure you'll walk away with an armload of prizes. :-D Enjoy yourself at the summer show and I'll look forward to your photographs.
Sure hope you have alot of fun and win much. My daughter has signed up 2 handfuls of projects for her fair she'll be entering in 2 weeks. These things are always much fun. Please take picts.
Hope you had a good day at the show Emma. Ours was on 4th July but unfortunately I missed it as we were travelling that day. I am sure you and the children will do as well as you always do and look forward to seeing the piccies
Ok then EJ.....SHOW ME THUH PICTCHAS!! Please do show the pics and write a little commentary. I hope that it went well for you guys. I always wonder how you have time for it with all the things that you have going on in your life. Just amazing.
I agree with Sjoerd - I want to know every detail of how the show went - with photographs of course. I have a feeling you and the young 'uns picked up the odd prize or two so, come on, tell all!!
hehehe. When I come online tonight when the urchins are tucked up in bed, I will resize the pics and post for you. Just to let you know, we won several firsts, a few seconds and a couple of thirds and Jessica won a trophey! :0
So what do you do for fun? I'm expecting a handful of ribbons for you, Emma. The littlies have been busy too. Wish them luck for me. Looking forward to your photos.
