Just came across this beautiful sunflower field as I was driving on the outskirts of Karachi city. I don't know, but I've always been fascinated by sunflowers!

WOW those are gorgeous!! I have always liked sunflowers too as they are such a versatile plant. Not only are they attractive when in flower but you can extract oil from them and the seeds are such a wonderful food source for birds.

So pretty!! I have been noticing more and more sunflower fields in north Texas the last couple of years. It seems growing them for birdseed has become quite profitable......and makes for such a pretty drive through the countryside.

Thanks for liking the picture guys! :D
By the way, that land (and others in that area) are now up for sale - Which is actually why I had visited that spot... So who knows, maybe (with my next set of pictures that I'll upload) - I just might surprise everyone over here by retiring and become a farmer!!!
