About the only new things blooming right now.
The pink coneflowers have been really doing well.. and finally the White Swan Coneflowers decided to join in the display.

And nearby a few of the Goldstrum Black Eyed Susans.

And the Balloon Flower finally decided to let me get some before & after photos.

Nice flower pics Cheryl. I like the balloon flowers as I don't have any. At first I thought some swans were at a party breaking balloons and someone got mad and gave them a black eye.

    Too funny Jerry!
    :D
This is the first time I've had any of these plants growing. The Balloon Flower is pretty neat looking.

Very pretty Cheryl. I like the white swan coneflower (well it's white isn't it? ;) ) The yellow of the black eye susan is like having your own splash of sunshine even on a rainy day. As for the balloon flower I can't make up my mind if I prefer the budding stage or the flower itself as they are both very attractive.

These are lovely flowers, Cheryl. You have some nice specimens in your garden this year.

Pretty, Ive got the black-eyes and the white swan, but I dont have the balloons :)

Earlier in the season, a customer came into the garden center and asked one of my cashier coworkers if we carried balloon flowers. She got a really confused look on her face and turned to me and asked "um...balloon flowers?" I smiled and told the customer that we didnt have them in yet but should in a few weeks *giggles* Of course I explained to my coworker ;)

    Cute story Bip!
Philip... I would have never known about it except that someone here posted a photo. I was thrilled to find one on sale not too long ago.
I hope it likes living here!

They are all very pretty. I have only grown the pink coneflowers but have been thinking of trying some other colors.
