I always have my camera with me when I water my gardens and yard. While out there I could here the thunder but there wasnt a cloud in the sky(so I thought...the sky was one big cloud). It moved in fast but moved out faster. Not a drop of rain with it. Lots of talk but nothing to back it up. :-x When I first noticed the sky changing colors on its way out. Sure looked like rain to me! Someone else will get all my much needed rain.I was really hoping for rain so I could shoot off my fireworks on the 4th.
Same here Denee, I work in Gonzales, about 17 miles from where I live. Gonzales has had rain 3 or 4 times in the last 2 weeks, us,nothing. I called DH from work today and he said he could hear thunder and it was very overcast, but no rain.
Its very cool here this afternoon and really cloudy .We got a good rain at work .I lve about 18 miles from there and it sprinkled here but didn't settle the dust.We needed it so bad here .
Do you think you could bucket some of it and send it off to Toni, Sharon and Dooley? I'm sure they would appreciate it

RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE AROUND ONE INCH TODAY WITH SOME SPOTS RECEIVING 3 TO 5 INCHES. RAINFALL ON SAT AVERAGED BETWEEN A HALF & ONE INCH WITH SEVERAL AREAS RECEIVING BETWEEN 4 & 6 INCHES.
