Hellllllooo gardeners. I garden in Zone 7 on an Island in the PNW, I love all plants but would chose herbs if I had to only grow one type....(that would be terrible though) I dispatch for Fire and Security, have a son and daughter and am a guardian for my sister who is mentally challenged....well that is the offical term but she really can not be put in a catergory.

I love animals, peole, reading, cooking, tennis and
    watching movies; mostly indy types.

I must start strolling about and learning about all of you.

Hellllooooo SwissCharrd (ok you are going to have to explain the name :D) and welcome to the Stew! I'm really interested to see where you are located so maybe you can add yourself to our map.

You are going to fit right in here ;) You must recommend some good movies to me, I like indy movies as well

Looking forward to your time here in the Stew.

I do love Swiss Chard, aren't the rainbow types bootiful? Actually someone gave me the nick name and calls me Swiss! The two r's is because I thought Char was too stubby (my shortened name) and because I was inspried by Ringo!

Let me know some movies you like and I will tell you some I like too.

Hello, hello. I am new here too and everyone is lovely. Interested in what you are growing and knowing. Would love to have some film recommendations as we joined Netflix and are always looking for something out of the mainstream. 8)

Now I see that zone 7 goes into the Pacific Northwest. I didn't know this till I looked at a zone map.
