I have been out cleaning up the yard. That last freeze we had fianlly got to the Asters and the mums. I cut the Asters back and I transplanted the mums to a bed for the winter. Once I see that they made it through the winter, I will pot them back up into hanging pots. Now I am mulching leaves with the lawn mower. Got almost 1/2 the yard done and decided to take a break and have some coffee. It's supposed to rain for the next 2 days and then cool off quite a bit.

I need to get out into my yard this weekend and finish fall cleanup. I hope the weather improves before the weekend.
Mum's only seem to survive the mildest winters here, and it's usually only the rust colored ones. I wonder why?

That cup of coffee must have tasted so good after all that hard work CK. I'm clearing leaves off the lawn on a regular basis now and putting them into the flower beds as a mulch. Waste not want not!! :-D
