    Need help to ID this late blooming Michigan perennial that is also diseased...what is the plant? and what is the disease? and how do I treat it?

    It rather looks like a Delphinium. As for the disease, I couldnt say, I know next to nothing about 'em.

    Hmmmm....not delphinium...blooms in fall

    Thanks to you both...but I don't think it is delphinium as it is a fall blooming plant...but thank you...

    Yes! Thank you...that is what it is...I have come to the same conclusion...do you know what might be wrong with it...if anything. Perhaps the buds just look a little weird until they bloom?
